I Got a Job ! (and Other News)

First, I am pleased to announce that I have found a job and have been working for the last week. I am working for a firm called Formosa Transnational Attorneys. They do plenty of international work and now have 3 foreign lawyers on the payroll. So far, the work I have been doing is pretty interesting, but there has not been enough to keep me completely busy. Of course this situation will no doubt change in the near future. Since we are still living in Taoyuan, I am going back to my daily commute of 3 hours per day, but I have found a bus that leaves from outside our place to the MRT line. It takes a bit longer, but there are always seats available. No more standing on the train for 40 minutes! We also may be moving to Taipei after the baby is born and after my job probation period is done. Then, I may miss my reading and ipod time.

Second, We have a Flickr account and have been loading pictures into the account. For more pictures, with better quality check it out: www.flickr.com/photos/ourlifeintaiwan/. For a quick link to it, click on the link on your right called "Our Flickr Pictures". I will be updating it at different times than the blog, and perhaps with different content - so check in often.

Third, I am going to start posting some of our activities that we have done over the last year, but have not had time to post. After each post has been up for a week or so, I am going to change the post date so it corresponds with the actual time the event occurred. This will result in the post moving into the middle of the list. For example I edited the post date of our Mid Taiwan Trip to July when it actually occurred. It originally was under the August posts, but now is under the July posts. Therefore, if you think you may have missed something, scroll down the blog or check out the "Past Posts" section.

I hope everything is going well with you all and I would love it if you wrote me an e-mail to update us on how you are doing and what is new in your life(lives).
